SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The Savannah-Chatham Metro Police Department responded at about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday to a single-vehicle crash near the intersection of Ogeechee Road and West 37th Street in Savannah.
The car turned south onto Ogeechee Rd. from West 36th Street when the 29-year-old male driver lost control of the vehicle, leaving the roadway and hitting a home in the 2100 block of Ogeechee Road.
The driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was treated for a possible medical issue that may have caused him to lose consciousness while driving.
No other injuries were reported.
The Traffic Investigation Unit (TIU) responded to the scene. This investigation is ongoing.
