CHATHAM CO., GA (WTOC) - The Chatham Area Transit Authority spent the morning discussing the future of the public transportation agency that has certainly gone through its share of troubles in the last year.
The CAT Board is pushing forward as fast as it can to keep the bus service as progressive as possible.
Friday morning's Strategic Planning Workshop focused on what could be accomplished in the next 12 months, including adding park and ride locations and even replacing some older vehicles with electric buses. Other priorities include improving the public perception of CAT.
The board will continue to hold these meetings in an effort to narrow down those issues that represent the highest priorities for the survival of the agency.
