SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Happening this weekend is the 4th annual Paws for a cause fundraiser.

One Love Animal Rescue held their largest fundraiser of the year at the Foundary Coffee Pub on Habersham Street. There was live music, a bake sale and lots of arts and crafts from local vendors for sale.

Organizers say without the support of the community they could not help as many animals as they do.

"We cover 100 percent of the cost of fostering," said Dana Bertagnolli, One Love Animal Rescue Co-Founder. "So, we buy all the food, we pay all the veterinarian bills, everything that they need. So, that cost a lot of money and we have well over 120 animals every single day in foster care. So, the goal is to raise as much money as possible."

To date, One Love Animal Rescue has helped to save 4,000 animals here in the Savannah area.
