50 Days of Summer Heat Left

Have you been paying attention to the speed limits? Law enforcement agencies sure are. They're halfway into their campaign called 100 Days of Summer Heat. It's actually a nationwide campaign to stop speeders, DUI offenders and motorists not wearing their seatbelts.

So far, law enforcement has seen an increase in citations for speeding and seatbelt offenders. But DUIs are about the same as last year. Police say DUI offenses went down the first few weeks of the campaign, but are back up.

100 Days of Summer Heat ends on September 1.
