Overnight Wreck on I-95 Damages Several Vehicles

Shortly after 3:30am this morning, a man driving a GMC Envoy lost control of the SUV just north of the 94 mile marker on Interstate 95 heading north. A man driving a Mercedes says the SUV was towing a wave-runner and was passing the Mercedes when the driver of the SUV swerved and began flipping over.

A woman passenger in the SUV was injured and was taken to Memorial Health for treatment. There were no other serious injuries.

Cars passing the wreck hit debris, which damaged their vehicles and closed down the interstate for a while.

The driver of the SUV says he was coming from Navarre Beach, Florida, where his family's vacation home was damaged by Hurricane Dennis. They were on their way back to Michigan when the accident occurred.
