POOLER, GA (WTOC) -

A three car wreck on Coleman Boulevard, located near Highway 80 in Pooler, closed the road Friday evening.

Southside Fire & EMS, Pooler Fire Department and Pooler Police Department responded to the scene.

Eyewitness Devree Scott says the car wreck was over a dispute involving a woman.

Scott was stopped at a red light when he says he saw two vehicles driving erratically through a Flash Foods gas station. One of those cars then ran headfirst into Scott's vehicle.

That's when Scott says the driver of the car that hit him jumped out and tried to run from the scene.

The driver of the second car in the gas station then got out of his car to chase the man who crashed into Scott.

Scott says both of the other men were involved with the same woman, one being married to her.

Scott says he pulled out his gun to protect his family, who was also in the car.

"I hopped out the vehicle to check that everybody was okay," said Scott. "I was still conscious and coherent at the time when the gentlemen started fleeing the scene running towards my direction, I felt as needed to protect myself and to protect my family."
