Kenneth LaPierre dazzled on the mound for Savannah, pitching eight strong innings while allowing two unearned runs. The San Diego State Aztec allowed just two hits while striking out three.
Bryce Fischer led the way at the plate with a 3-4 day. He also added two RBI and a run. Jake Howard added three RBI to the Bananas' cause.
This contest closed out a stretch of five games in five days for the Bananas. The team went 3-2 during that week. The Bananas are back home at historic Grayson Stadium Monday night to host Lexington County.
