BCSO looking for man wanted on charges stemming from Grays Hill Community shooting incident

BEAUFORT, SC (WTOC) -

Investigators in Beaufort are asking for the public's help to find a 27-year-old man wanted for drug and weapon charges. 

Officials say Jeffrey Grant of Beaufort is wanted on active arrest warrants for unlawful carrying of a pistol and possession with intent to distribute crack-cocaine. The warrants stem from an investigation into a shooting incident that took place at the Grays Hill Community Center on April 9. 

Anyone with information on Grant's whereabouts is asked to contact Sgt. Adam Draisen at 843.255.3409, or CrimeStoppers at 1.888.CrimeSC if wishing to remain anonymous and for possible reward.

    Savannah Youth City held a telethon on Saturday at the Ralph Gilbert Museum in order to promote their "Ignite Change Tour", a community outreach program that allows young adults to be productive and make changes in their community.
