An accident happened on US 17 in South Carolina yesterday, just over the Talmadge Bridge. One driver was heading north and drifted off the side of the road, overcorrected, and went into the southbound lane. An oncoming car T-boned the car, seriously injuring two people inside.
Other drivers stopped to help. But some on the scene say that wasn't enough help.
"So many people were passing by and didn't stop to see what was going on and stuff," said Ronald Williams, a former sheriff's deputy. "And people, when they see an accident, need to be a little more concerned because you got to think about it, could have been you."
South Carolina state patrol is still investigating and has not yet released any names.
