SCMPD investigates after teen shot in Yamacraw Village

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

The Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred late Thursday night in the 600 block of Yamacraw Village.

Officials say Metro officers responded around 11 p.m. and found a 13-year-old male with non-life-threatening injuries. 

Detectives say they believe the shooter left the area in a black Chevrolet Equinox with tinted windows.
