NW high pressure pairs with sunny Sunday morning

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

High pressure will build in from the northwest today and remain strong through the first half of the week before moving offshore.  Wednesday and Thursday will see a stationary front to our south will dissipate before a cold front approaches from the northwest next weekend.

Sunday will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid-80s with northeast winds around 10 mph. Sunday night will be partly cloudy with lows in the upper 60s.

Monday will be sunny with highs in the upper 80s. Monday night will be partly cloudy with lows in the upper 60s.

Tuesday will be partly sunny with a 20 percent chance of showers. Highs will be in the upper 80s as northeast winds climb 5 to 10 mph. Tuesday night will be mostly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of showers. Lows will be in the lower 70s.

Wednesday will be partly sunny with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs will be in the upper 80s with a 40 percent chance of rain. Wednesday night will be mostly cloudy with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Lows will be in the lower 70s with a 20 percent chance of rain.

Thursday will be partly sunny with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs will be in the upper 80s with a 30 percent chance of rain. Thursday night will be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Lows will be in the lower 70s with a 40 percent chance of rain.

Friday will be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs will be in the upper 80s with a 50 percent chance of rain. Friday night will be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Lows will be in the mid-70s with a 50 percent chance of rain.

Saturday will be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs will be in the upper 80s with a 50 percent chance of rain.
