Friday's intrasquad scrimmage at Paulson Stadium was a free show for Georgia Southern fans, but the Eagles weren't happy with all the giveaways that took place.
There were plenty of good moments for the Eagles' new Bryan Cook-led offense Friday night.
But there were also some bad, many in the form of turnovers.
Head coach Tyson Summers says that's concerning.
"If we're going to be an option team and maintain the focus of the things we talk about, which is dominating the run game and leading the country in turnover margin, we can't do what we did today," Summers said. "I expect to win football games. We've talked about that. They know the importance of that, and we certainly have to improve that."
The good news is the Eagles are only nine practices in, so there's still time to get it corrected before they head to Auburn on September 2.
