Old Louisville Road business fire under investigation

GARDEN CITY, GA (WTOC) -

A fire that destroyed a business on Old Louisville Road in West Chatham County early Monday morning is under investigation.

Garden City Fire and Pooler Fire crews were dispatched around 4:40 a.m. to 3927 Old Louisville Road on a report of a structure fire. Upon arrival, fire crews found the structure behind the mentioned address engulfed in flames. They were able to contain the fire without it spreading to nearby trees, vehicles and other structures by establishing water curtains.

Officials say the structure that caught fire was a vehicle repair facility. The building is a total loss.

The fire is now out and crews have cleared the scene. No injuries were reported.

There is no word on what caused the fire at this time. Pooler Fire is investigating.
