It's post season baseball time in Savannah as the Bananas are back in the playoffs for the second straight year.

The team won it all last season, taking the Petit Cup and now the road home begins with a home game against High Point-Thomasville in a winner take all 1 game showdown.

Savannah enters the night 30-25 overall on Tuesday night in Historic Grayson Stadium.

The tarp came off just a little after seven, and the game began at 7:35.

Jesse Cole and the gang worked up the crowd with a great catch from the young fan.

Scoreless in the top of the second...Bryan Cruse keeps the HiToms off the board with the inning ending strikeout.

The bottom half of the inning saw Glennville's Brandon Purcell with the shot to center, going over the head of Edward Reese. Purcell pulls in to third with the stand-up triple.

Utah Jones gets on first, then takes off for the second. Purcell scores on the play, and Jones is awarded second base as the Hitoms are called for interference.

The Bananas go on the road to face Gastonia on Thursday and return home on Friday.
