Mark Stroud is back at Calvary Day after just a year away.
After this season, Stroud will match Dennis Roddenberry for the longest tenure at the school at ten seasons, and Stroud is already the school's most successful coach at 67-25.
"It's been really good for us to be back," says Stroud. "Calvary as you guys know it's a great place, we have a lot of friends, there, they have a great vision for a school and for the community, it's been great to be back in that environment, so also great to be back here, we put together a really good coaching staff I think, and we love the kids here so it's great to be back in Savannah and like I said earlier, it's a family deal for us."
He says this year's team has potential, but the front line guys that have playing experience that will have to carry the younger players early on. He is back after a year at Swainsboro.
Calvary Day opens up at home against Islands on August 18th.
