Fresh off his Georgia Open victory Sunday, Vidalia native Paul Claxton is taking on a little bigger challenge this weekend when he'll play in the PGA Championship.
It'll be the third career major championship appearance for the former Georgia Bulldog, who says he's going to have a great time at Quail Hollow.
"It's a real tough golf course, and I'm just going to go up there and enjoy it and not put too much pressure on myself," Claxton said Sunday. "I'll just kind of drink it in as they say, and just enjoy being between the ropes and doing what I love to do."
Claxton is grouped with fellow Georgia Bulldog alum Russell Henley and Joost Luiten. The group will tee off on #10 at 12:50 p.m. Thursday.
