SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The suspect in the shooting and deadly crash in downtown Savannah during Fourth of July celebrations has been indicted.
Jerry Chambers, 17, is facing three counts of felony murder charges, in addition to being a party to a crime and eluding police.
Investigators say Chambers is the suspect seen in the surveillance video at Jefferson Street and West St. Julian Street firing shots from the white SUV.
He was also the driver of that SUV. He was running from police when he hit several pedestrians including "The Grey" general manager, Scott Waldrup.
