Preseason camp is winding down for the Georgia Southern Eagles.
Before you know it, Tyson Summers' squad will be kicking off the season at Auburn.
Between now and their date with the Tigers, Summers and his staff will have to make a few decisions on the Eagles' depth chart. That includes a starter at quarterback.
Summers says those calls will be made soon.
"It's a big weekend for us this weekend from a staff standpoint as far as finishing up the third scrimmage. We'll spend some time really on personnel and positions, not just isolated at quarterback, and be able to name some of those things this week," Summers says. "We'll come up and name who we feel like our guys are going to be or what the depth chart is going to kind of look like."
Summers says the first few days of practice this week will be spent putting in final installation on situational scenarios before turning their attention to Auburn later in the week.
