SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Students in Savannah have been back in school for almost three weeks now, and it appears that bus problems haven't been as big of an issue as they have in the past.

Savannah-Chatham School District's transportation committee met Wednesday to reflect on operations. This is the school system's second year running their own transportation. Some concerns brought up during the meeting include not having air conditioning on all buses, communication between school districts and parents, and driver training.

"We're still working on our emergency process, making sure our drivers know how to react in a situation," said Mrs. Vanessa Miller-Kaigler, Deputy Superintendent, SCCPSS.

If you have any issues, parents are encouraged to attend the meetings. The next one is scheduled for Sept. 27.
