The Savannah-Chatham Metro Police Department says a shooting that took place in the 800 block of W. 35th Street on Friday afternoon is being ruled as self-induced.
Officers received the call around 4:30 p.m. Once there they found a 17-year-old male inside a home with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the leg. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Detectives report the teenager said the wounds were self-inflicted.
