There's a guilty verdict for the second man tried for the murder of a Church's Chicken manager. Charles Hill heard his fate from the jury this afternoon. Hill and his friend, Derek Horne, have now both been convicted of robbing and killing Sean Abraham at the fast food restaurant on West Bay Street last February.
Hill was not the trigger man, but the jury still found him guilty of felony murder and several other crimes.
Abraham's family has been in the court every day for both trials. They say it's been a tough road for them, but they are glad the jury gave them justice for Sean's death.
"When the rest of them came back guilty, the message [was], we cannot do these things, you cannot be a part of a crime and say pick which part you are going to be a part of," said Pam Abraham, Sean's mother. "If you're in it, you're in it."
The judge will sentence Hill later this summer. He is facing several life sentences behind bars.
