Want to eat a good lunch and help a good cause at the same time? You can do both at the Beaufort Water Festival's 19th annual CAPA Cafe. They have a lot of delicious foods on the menu, but more importantly, the proceeds from this fundraiser benefit the Child Abuse Prevention Association.
"We have a shelter for abused and neglected children from five counties come to that shelter," said CAPA volunteer Katie Grindle. "And outreach programs throughout the county to do preventive programs."
If you've missed the CAPA Cafe this week, you still have another chance. The cafe is open tomorrow, July 23, in Beaufort after the parade from 11am to 2pm.
