Savannah-Chatham police are trying to find out how a man died who lived in a seniors' apartment complex. About 10:30am Friday morning, police and Savannah firefighters were called to Sisters Court on East 37th Street when neighbors hadn't seen the man for at least two days and he didn't answer his door.
Firefighters broke the door open and found the man dead. Police say he had several injuries. They are investigating.
The body has been sent to the GBI crime lab for an autopsy. His name has not been released.
After the final witness, the judge sentenced Arnold under the First Offender Act. He was sentenced to 15 years with two years to serve in prison, eight years of probation and five years suspended.More >>
