Georgia National Guardsmen Killed in Iraq

Four soldiers with the 48th Brigade have been killed in the deadliest attack on the Georgia National Guard team since its mobilization to Iraq.

The four soldiers were killed Sunday when a bomb went off as their Humvee passed over it. The commander of the brigade says between 500 and 600 pounds of explosives were used in the attack.

The names of the soldiers have not been released until their families are notified.
