SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Savannah-Chatham Metro Police are investigating after a pedestrian was hit on President Street near Pennsylvania Avenue, around 3:20 Friday afternoon.
Police say a car was traveling on President Street when a 13-year-old boy reportedly ran out into the street in front of the car. The driver was not able to stop in time and collided with the victim.
The boy suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital. At this time, no other injuries have been reported.
President Street was closed for a while but has since reopened.
