Slight chances for evening showers following sunny Saturday

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

High pressure will prevail today, then a cold front will pass through late tonight into Sunday morning. High pressure will then return through much of next week, though a Gulf low-pressure system could impact the area mid to late week.

Saturday will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid-70s. South winds will range from 10 to 15 mph. Saturday night will be mostly clear in the evening, then mostly cloudy with a chance of showers after midnight. Lows in the mid-50s as southwest winds pick up from 10 to 15 mph. There will be a 40 percent chance of rain. 

Sunday will be partly sunny with a slight chance of showers in the morning, then sunny in the afternoon. Highs will be in the mid-60s as northwest winds reach up to 10 to 15 mph. There will be a 20 percent chance of rain. Sunday night will be mostly clear, becoming cooler with lows in the upper 30s. North winds will reach 5 to 10 mph.

Monday will be sunny with highs in the lower 60s. Northeast winds will range from 5 to 10 mph, becoming east in the afternoon. Monday Night: Partly cloudy. Lows in the mid-40s.

Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of showers. Highs will be around 70. Tuesday night will remain mostly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of showers. Lows will be in the lower 50s.

Wednesday will be mostly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of showers. Highs will be in the upper 60s. Wednesday night will be mostly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of showers. Lows will be around 50.

Thanksgiving Day will be partly sunny with a 20 percent chance of showers. Highs will be in the lower 60s. Thursday night will be mostly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of showers. Lows will drop down to the mid-40s.

Friday will be partly sunny with a 20 percent chance of showers. Highs will be around 60.
