Metro working to find pair wanted for theft

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Savannah-Chatham Metro Police are asking for the public's help to locate a man and woman who are wanted for arrest for theft. 

Police say several thefts were reported in October from an auto repair shop in the 10400 block of Abercorn Street. Detectives identified Donald Holder and Rachael Howell-Halstead, both 29, as the suspects in the thefts. Holder and Howell-Halstead may be driving a gold Toyota Sequoia. 

Anyone with information on the location of either suspect is asked to contact police. A confidential tip line is also open directly to investigators at 912.351.3403. Anyone who wishes to provide information anonymously can call Crimestoppers at 912.234.2020.

    A Savannah woman is giving back to the homeless community and making them look good in the process. Besty Rothman hosted her third annual event helping at the old Savannah city mission on Bull Street today. She and a team of volunteers gave free haircuts, manicures, warm meals, and much more to people who stopped by.  Rothman, a licensed cosmetologist, said she organized the event to honor her late sister and to give back to the community.
