SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Savannah Fire says it responded to two different incidents Wednesday night and extricated two men from their vehicles.

The first one happened on Telfair Road around 9 p.m. Fire officials say an 18-wheeler slipped off a jack and pinned a man's arm beneath it. Firefighters were able to quickly rescue the man and EMS crews transported him to the hospital.

Two minutes later, Savannah Fire was called to a two-car crash on West Bay Street. When firefighters arrived, they found a man was unconscious and trapped behind the wheel. Firefighters quickly pulled him from the wreckage. They say he and a passenger were also taken to the hospital.
