Beaufort County school bus involved in minor crash

BEAUFORT, SC (WTOC) -

A Beaufort County school bus carrying students was involved in a minor crash Friday morning.

The wreck happened about 7:40 a.m. on Mossy Oaks Road near Beaufort Middle School. The Beaufort County School District says two Beaufort High students were on board the bus at the time, but no one was injured.

The same bus was able to transport the students to school.

    Subtropical Storm Alberto continues to bring heavy rain and a high risk for rip currents to the Gulf Coast.  Alberto is just west of Tampa and moving to north by northwest at 12mph.  Peak winds are 50 mph and no significant strengthening is expected as we head into Monday.
