SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Cool and dry high pressure will hold on into Sunday. A low-pressure system will approach late Sunday and slowly move up the coast through the middle of next week. Weak, high pressure will return later in the week.

Saturday will be partly sunny with highs in the lower 70s. East winds will be 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. Saturday night will be mostly cloudy. Lows will be in the mid-50s with east winds 10 to 15 mph.

Sunday will be mostly cloudy with a slight chance of showers in the morning, then a chance of showers in the afternoon. Highs will be in the lower 70s with east winds 10 to 15 mph. There is a 30 percent chance of rain. Sunday night will be cloudy with a chance of showers in the evening and after midnight. Lows will be in the lower 60s with east winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. There is an 80 percent chance of rain.

There will be showers with a slight chance of thunderstorms on Monday. Highs will be in the lower 70s with east winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. There is a 100 percent chance of rain. Showers are likely Monday night and lows will be in the lower 60s. There is a 60 percent chance of rain.

Tuesday is expected to be partly sunny with a 50 percent chance of showers. Highs will be in the upper 70s. Tuesday night will be mostly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of showers. Lows will be in the upper 50s.

Wednesday will be partly sunny with highs in the upper 70s. Wednesday night will be mostly cloudy. Lows will be in the upper 50s.

Thursday will be partly sunny with a 20 percent chance of showers. Highs will be in the mid-70s. Thursday night will be partly cloudy with lows in the mid-50s.

Friday is expected to be mostly sunny. Highs will be in the upper 70s.
