SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Savannah Fire battled two fires in the early morning hours on Saturday.

At 2:09 a.m. Savannah Fire was dispatched to 323 W. 31st St. The fire began in a bedroom and spread to the rest of the home. Firefighters quickly put out the blaze. The building suffered serious smoke, fire and water damage. The two residents of the home were displaced.

Around 6:23 a.m. firefighters were dispatched to a fire at 113 1/2 W. Brady St. Smoke and flames were visible on the back porch of the house. Five residents were evacuated while crews worked to put out the fire. The fire was contained to the back porch. No one was displaced or injured.
