Teen Arraigned in Bus Arson

One teenager was arraigned and another will be in court next week for setting school buses on fire. James Sams, 17, and his 15-year-old friend are accused of setting three Savannah-Chatham school buses on fire.

It happened last Thursday. The buses were parked at Myers Middle School. The boys did not attend the middle school, but are Chatham County students.

Police charged the boys with arson, interference with government property and trespassing. The 15-year old will be in juvenile court Tuesday for his detention hearing. Sams will be in court again on September 13.
