SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - We know you're busy and may not have a lot of time to exercise, but hopefully, you were able to get up from your desk and move on Wednesday for National Walk at Lunch Day.
We celebrated here at WTOC. We got out and moving and even got rewarded. The Kona Ice truck was parked outside the station. National Walk at Lunch Day is designed to improve personal health and lower the cost of health care for employers and employees.
"Kona Ice is a franchise that is focused on being good to the community and good for you, so it's made out of fruit and we give back 20 percent to those wanting to raise money," said Jennifer Hodge, Owner, Kona Ice.
Twenty percent of what Kona Ice earned at WTOC on Wednesday will go to the United Way of the Coastal Empire.
