SPD seeking group of thieves after several thefts in area malls

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Savannah Police are asking for the public's help to identify four suspects accused of shoplifting from several stores and stealing merchandise totaling around $10,000. 

Police say three men and one woman went into the Victoria Secret inside the Savannah Mall around 1:15 p.m. on April 19. Two of the suspects distracted a store associate while the other two stole the merchandise. Police say the group then went to the Victoria Secret in the Oglethorpe Mall and stole items from there as well. 

The same day, that group was identified as being suspects in a shoplifting that occurred at LensCrafters in the Oglethorpe Mall, where multiple glasses were stolen. All four suspects are described as being Hispanic. 

The incident remains under investigation. Anyone with information on the suspects or incident, please call Southside Precinct detectives at 912.351.3403. Information may also be forwarded to CrimeStoppers at 912.234.2020. Tipsters remain anonymous and may qualify for a cash reward.
