BLUFFTON, SC (WTOC) - A meeting being held in the Town of Bluffton is seeking input from the community on developing an infrastructure plan for the Goethe-Shults neighborhood.
The meeting held at the Rotary Community Center was a brainstorming session to gather ideas for public facilities, sewers, roads, sidewalks, and more. The homes and businesses within the Goethe-Shults area are not a part of a planned community which means it does not have the benefits of a pre-planned infrastructure.
"A lot of it has to do with pedestrian safety," said Michelle Knight of the Lowcountry Council of Governments. "Slowing traffic down so people realize they've arrived somewhere."
If you were unable to attend the meeting and wish to offer your opinions and ideas, please email Michelle Knight at (email@example.com).
