SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

The largest one-day food drive in the country is happening this Saturday, May 12.

The National Association of Letter Carriers will host the 26th annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive will support area agencies that help feed the hungry.

Last year's food drive brought in over 60,000 pounds of food for Chatham County alone.

To participate, simply set non-perishable food items out by your mailbox in grocery bags before your letter carrier's normal pick-up time. If your donation is not collected on Saturday, you can still put your donated items out by the mailbox on Monday to be picked.
