SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

A suspect has been arrested for a wreck in November 2017 that killed two Georgia Southern students.

Jared Adler was arrested in Savannah on Thursday, May 10.

The brothers, Jack Deacon Harris, 20, and Garrett Harris, 18, were on their way back to Statesboro from Thanksgiving break. They were on I-16 in Laurens County when Georgia State Patrol said they were struck by a car going westbound in the eastbound lane.

Georgia State Patrol stated in November that the other driver in the crash – now identified as Adler – was hospitalized after the crash as well.
