SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Dozens of teams and over 100 cancer survivors participated in this year's Relay for Life in Daffin Park.
There was a special luminary ceremony to celebrate the survivors and remember loved ones who lost their battle.
"Cancer does not discriminate. Whether you have money, don't have money, white, black, religious, not religious, cancer does not discriminate so it affects everyone, no matter who you are," said Bailey Semkuley, Community Development Manager.
This was the first ever Coastal Empire Relay.
