Racial slur found in Windsor Forest High School's yearbook

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The Savannah-Chatham County Public School System is offering to replace Windsor Forest High School's yearbook due to an inappropriate word in a photo.

In the yearbook, a photo of a student is shown with a racial slur written on a piece of paper.

The school system released the following statement on Friday morning:

District Administration has identified a photo with offensive content that was printed in the Windsor Forest High School yearbook. School officials have notified parents of the inadvertent printing of the material and requested that students return the yearbook to the school this week so that corrective action could be taken to remove the offensive content.
