Savannah Silver Cheetahs have successful run in Florida

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

The Savannah Silver Cheetahs are back home after another successful trip to the Sunshine State. The local track club is coming off competing in the Epitome of Excellence Track and Field Classic at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Florida. 11 Athletes in the Savannah Club competed in Jacksonville against track and field teams from Georgia and Florida.  The Silver Cheetahs brought home 3, golds, five silvers and three bronze medals.

1.   Olivia Brown – Gold in 100 Meter Hurdles (15.74s), Silver in High Jump (4ft 9.75in)

2.   Chioma Chukwukere – Gold in 800 Meter Run (2:48.51s), 4th in 400 Meter Dash (1:03.66s)

3.   Mariah Ogden – Gold in Shot Put (23ft 10.75in), 4th in 80 Meter Hurdles (17.72s), and 13th in 200 Meter Dash (32.56s)

4.   Khobe Fields – Silver in Turbo Javelin (24ft 10in), 4th in 100 Meter Dash (17.37s)

5.   Malaysia Jordan –  Silver in Discus (74ft 2in), 4th in Shot Put (31ft 7.5in), 5th in Long Jump (14ft 2.5in)

6.   Alexandria Riley – Silver in 800 Meter Run (2:38.94s), 4th in 400 Meter Dash (1:03.05s), 12th in 200 Meter Dash (27.95s)

7.   Nysha Jordan – Silver in 100 Meter Dash (12.75s)

8.   Desiree Lovett –  Bronze in Discus (64ft 10in) and Javelin (52ft 10in), 6th in Shot Put (29ft 1.75in)

9.   Keyara Lovett – Bronze in Long Jump (14ft 5in), 6th in 200 Meter Hurdles (43.38s)

10.  Ivey Hall – 4th in 400 Meter Dash (1:08.51s) and 100 Meter Dash (15.22s), 5th in Long Jump (11ft 2in)

11.  Ka’Leah Parker – 6th in Long Jump (12ft 3.75in), 11th in 100 Meter Dash (14.39s) and 200 Meter Dash (32.88s)
