The Two Hundred Club and the Bananas hosted Red, White and Blue Night on Friday.
The event is made up of law enforcement officers in the Coastal Empire as well as fire department and EMS personnel. This is the third year it's been held and they are one and one against each other, but this year is different due to the recent string of tragedies in our area over the last eight months.
Gary Taylor, game coordinator, explains the change in format.
"We wanted this year, we wanted to come together, we wanted some unity, some healing, coming out here together, away from work, away from the stresses of what we do on a daily basis. It's a night to have fun, enjoy each other's company."
And sports can do that?
"It can. Law enforcement officers and firefighters are probably two of the most competitive groups that can get together but the last two years have been great."
That game was all part of the pre-game festivities out at Grayson Stadium Friday night.
