Savannah PD working to identify credit card thief

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Savannah Police need the community's help to identify a man who is suspected of stealing and using a victim's credit cards at various locations in April. 

The suspect stole the victim's cards while helping to move his items from his residence on East Waldburg Street on Thursday, April 5. Police say the victim does not know the suspect. He was captured by surveillance video in multiple businesses using the credit cards. 

Police say the suspect possibly goes by the name Sean and is described as a black male in his early to mid-30s. He is around 5'9 and weighs about 160 pounds. He possibly lives near the area of E 39th Street and Waters Avenue. 

In footage from one of the businesses, he is seen with a black female who was wearing a white top, jeans, and black sneakers. 

Anyone with information on the suspect's identity is asked to call the SPD Eastside Precinct Tip Line at 912.525.2355. Information may also be forwarded to CrimeStoppers at 912.234.2020.
