Zack Brockman is pitching for the Bananas this year. The Former Savannah Christian standout is in the starting rotation this season.
"It's great. I wanted to play last year, and I got shut down. I've been wanting to play in front of all my friends and everybody I know. It's just been great."
The right-hander says he feels very comfortable in Historic Grayson Stadium.
"I love playing here. One of my greatest games is winning a state championship, and coming back here is awesome."
Brockman is currently a rising sophomore at Liberty University. He appeared in 22 games, starting one and finishing at 2-2, but felt like he got better as the season progressed. As for the off the field duties, the normally reserved Brockman is coming around.
"He says it's like making a show, having people come out and watch us perform, play baseball, and it's honestly really fun to do."
Brockman says being asked to do different things at the games has brought out another side of his personality.
"I don't really do all the dancing and stuff that we do here, and after I got out here the first game, it was really fun to do."
