Legendary Georgia Southern University baseball coach, Jack Stallings, has died at the age of 87.
Stallings is the winningest baseball coach in GSU history with 859 wins.
The No. 1 jersey is retired in Stallings’ honor.

The field at J.I. Clements Stadium was named after Stallings on Feb. 19, 2005, and he was inducted into the Georgia Southern Athletics Hall of Fame in 2004.
