Students on Whitemarsh Island got some royal lessons today from a real king. West Nigeria's King Muruako and his wife visited with children at Marshpoint Elementary school this morning. The students and school superintendent Dr. Thomas Lockamy greeted the king.
They then took a tour of the school and spoke with children and staff.
School nurse Earline Mack provided medical treatment a year ago to people in the king's Nigerian village.
"I decided to come to say thank you to the people for the wonderful humanitarian gesture," King Muruako said.
The king also visited the students at Coastal Middle School.
