Hospitals Sell Katrina Relief Bracelets

Are you still looking for a way to help with the hurricane relief effort? If you stop by St. Joseph's or Candler Hospital, you can donate $5 to the Salvation Army and get a red Katrina relief bracelet.

They have 5,000 to sell, and they are really going fast.

"We have been steady selling these bracelets for the Katrina effort," said the hospital system's Mindy Hartley. "People from the community are coming out to buy them as well as our employees and physicians inside."

St. Joseph's/Candler will be selling the bracelets in front of their hospitals until 7pm tonight. After that, you can pick one up inside the hospital gift stores.
