BLOOMINGDALE, GA (WTOC) - Bloomingdale Police recently made a big find and it all started with a traffic stop Saturday night.
A Bloomingdale officer attempted to stop Micah Kent on Cherry Street, just blocks from the department Saturday night.
After a brief, slow-speed pursuit, officers pulled Kent over and noticed an odor of marijuana.
After a search of Kent's truck, police found thousands of dollars in cash, and a cache of drugs, that included five pounds of marijuana, and an extraordinary amount of THC oil.
"He's not somebody that we've had on our radar, number one because he's been really low-laying. And the good ones, that's what they do. It's the mistakes that they make that allow us to catch them, and this time, he got caught," Bloomingdale Police Department Lt. Wayne Daniels.
Police say each one of those syringes of THC oil is a felony charge.
The lieutenant says the drugs have a street value of more than$400,000.
Kent is being held at the Chatham County Detention Center with no bond.
