US capitalizes on Japan errors for win in Savannah

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The U.S. Collegiate National Baseball Team took a 2-1 series lead over Japan Friday in Savannah, capitalizing on Japanese errors for all three of their runs.

The U.S. beat Japan 3-1 in front of a sold out crowd at Grayson Stadium, the third game in their annual five game series.

The teams now travel to Charleston on Saturday for Game 4, and then to Macon's Luther Williams Field for the fifth and final contest.
