Family offering cash reward for information on Bryan County hit-and-run

BRYAN CO., GA (WTOC) - Troopers are still investigating two wrecks involving cars and pedestrians that happened July 29 on US Hwy 80 by US Hwy 280. One of them is a hit and run.

The hit and run involves a woman who was struck by a white SUV, possibly a Kia. Troopers are searching for a vehicle that fits that description with potential front-end damage.

The woman was airlifted with serious injuries. Troopers are still going through interviews to figure out what happened. The woman's family is offering a reward for information leading to the vehicle or driver.

The other wreck involved a man and another car. Authorities transported him to the hospital by ambulance. The car stopped at the scene.

These wrecks happened within minutes of each other around 10 p.m. They happened by Sanders Seafood.
