A registered sex offender arrested yesterday for a recent rape in Savannah waived his first appearance in court today. Police say Antonio Williams raped an 18-year-old woman September 16 at his home on Biscayne Drive.
Williams is charged with two counts of rape and one count of kidnapping.
He will be in court later this month for his preliminary hearing. Until then he is being held at the Chatham County jail.
